(Conducted by "Eileen"). PERSONAL ITEMS. Miss Hal!, who has been the guest of Miss Hilda McKenzie, Auckland, returned to New Plymouth on Monday last. 'Miss M. Humphries is on a visit to ker sister, Mrs. G. Stokes, Drury. Mrs. Blundell has returned after her pleasant trip to Timaru and the surrounding districts. Miss Ray will leave next Wednesday for Temuka, where she will act as bridesmaid at Miss Gapper's wedding. Miss Brown, matron of the New Plymouth Hospital, is spending her yearly holiday in Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Griffiths have gone for a trip to Wellington. Miss D. Bedford is spending her Eas-1 ter holidays in Hawera, where she is the guest of Mrs. Glenn. Mr., Mrs. and Miss Kerr, Wanganui, are. on a visit to New Plymouth, Miss Kerr being the guest of Mrs. R. A. Gray. (Mrs. Honeyfield, who has been on a visit to New Plymouth, will leave on Monday for Sydney, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. W. Newman. Misses M. and K. Humphries are on a visit to their relatives in Wanganui. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Morton, Napier, arrived by the mail last night, and will be the guests of Mrs. W. D. Webster. : Miss Monica Govett is the guest of I Mrs. Atkinson, Wanganui. (Mr. McCord, of the Union Bank of Australasia, has gone for a six weeks! trip to Australia and Hobart. ! Mr. and Miss Hamerton, Wellington, i are the guests of Mrs. Morshead, Young street. j Mrs. Cyril Williams, who has been' visiting her mother, Mrs. M. Fraser, , New Plymouth, returned last night to , i Auckland. !IMisses Brewster and V. Simpson and Powderell (Waverley) and Mr. C. Webster went to Auckland last Wednesday to attend the tennis tournament. Mrs. I. Saunders, Wanganui, is on a visit to New Plymouth. j Mrs. and Miss Bewley, who have been the guests of Mrs. W. Leatham, Parnell, Auckland, have returned to New Plymouth. Mrs. Claude Weston leaves next Thursday for a two months' trip to Melbourne, where her parents reside. Miss Fitzgerald, having severed her connection with Collier's Piano and Music Saloon, has gone to visit her married sister at Taumarunui, after which she will pay a visit to her brother in Melbourne. j Mrs. R. Cock is on a visit to her J daughter, Mrs. Williams, Taihape.
