The Treasurer has decided to create Commonwealth Government 3% per cent, inscribed stock, as from April 1, and is issuing £2,046,000. REMISSION OF FINES. Melbourne, April 4. As the outcome of the magistrate's decision, the Federal Government will remit all fines for the non-attendance of cadets at drills. A NEW FEDERAL STAMP. Melbourne, April 4. The Postmaster-General has approved the design of the Federal stamp, which consists of a map of Australia with a kangaroo in the centre and the word "Australia" across the top.
