Might with a burglar. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 6, 2 a.m. Sydney, April 5. An exciting encounter occurred at North Sydney. Andrew Cormack, when locking up his house, was confronted by a masked man who presented a revolver at his head. Cormack knocked the revolver aside and closed with the man. They struggled and wrestled for the length of the garden. His cries brought his brother to his assistance, and together they disabled the intruder and conveyed him to the police station. The police also arrested 'an armed man in the city early in the morning. Upon searching him they found a portion of the proceeds of one of the recent numerous burglaries. The man fougM savagely before being overpowered.
