'BIG DEMAND FOR PROSPECTUSES.

The issue of prospectuses of the Tbranaki (New Zealand) Oil Wells, Ltd., is now being made to the public. The demand for prospectuses has- been so great that it has been found neeossWy to hav,e a. large number more prirJted. It is officially announced' that Sir George Clifford, Bart., S'tonvhurst, ChristMnirch, and Sir John Love Harrington, K.C.M.C., of ,Lond'on, chairman of the Oil Trust. Ltd., will join the board. Aifter allotment a very large subscri]Aion is- anticipated.

Yesterday Prof. Eastcrfield, Nehv Zealand University, accompanied by Mr. ;T. B. (Connett, paid a. visit to the "works, land was shown over the wiliolp of itlie, company's property, evincing great interest in what he saw.
