The . chairman announced that a constitutional feature of the committee was that there would be no stoppages while sitting. As the Ahermain colliery was idle, due to a dispute over top coal, the committee adjourned.

THE LITHGOW STRIKE. Received 2, 12.15 a.m. Sydney, April 1. An aggregate meeting of the Lithgow strikers decided by a small majority to accept the proposed agreement. A ballot will be taken.
