Mails will close (subject to alterations) at the Chief Post Office, New Plymouth— For Auckland and North, Monday Wednesday and Friday, at 7 p.m.; anc daily, per mail train, at 6.15 a.m. For Wellington and South, 6.15 a.m and 12,20 p.m. daily. For Wanganui and intermediate offices daily, 6.15 a.m., 12.20 p.m. and 3.55 p.m. TUESDAY, APRIL 2. For Fanning Island, Fiji and Norfoll Island (via Auckland), at 6.15 a.m. WEDNESDAY, APRIL 3. Mails for Australian ports (via Syd ney), Ceylon, Indian, China, Japan an* Straits Settlements, also Continent o Europe and United Kingdom, at 6.1 a.m., per s.s. Uliinaroa, from Wellington) Due Sydney April 0, London May 12. FRIDAY, APRIL 5. For Hobart, via Bluff, at 6.15 a.m. SATURDAY, APRIL 6. For Australian States and South A rica, via Auckland, at 6.15 a.m. The next parcel mail for the Unite Kingdom will close here at 5 p.m. o Tuesday, April 2. EASTER HOLIDAYS. The following hours will be observe by the Post and Telegraph Departmei on Good Friday, April 5, and Easti Monday, April S:— GOOD FRIDAY. Good Friday will be observed as Sunday. The Post Office will be close in all branches. The Telegraph Office will observe Sui day hours, viz., 9.30 to 10 a.m. and 5 1 5.30 p.m. The Telephone Exchange will continu open as usual. In the private box lobby Sunday houi will be observed. All mails will close at 8 p.m. on Thurs day, April 4. The Railway Post Office will run a usual. A delivery of town letters will b made over the Post Office counter o Thursday evening, from 8 to 9 o'clock. EASTER MONDAY. The Post Office will be open in a branches (except MonejJJrder and ings Bank) from 9 to 10 a.m. only. The Telegraph Office will be open froi 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to midnight?"
