Fourteen thousand quarters from three ports, January-February shipment, sold at 37s 0d; an Australian cargo at 37s 10y s d; 14,000 quarters from three ports, two cargoes, at 38s 3d; four cargoes at 38s, 38s ,3d, 38s 4 1 / 3 d, and 38s lOMjd respectively. Tallow—Eleven hundred and sixty casks were offered and 470 sold; prices are unchanged. The risible American wheat supplv is 112,449,000 'bushels. L. A. NOLAN & OO.'S REPORT. Poultry.—We are pleased to be able to, report a big advance in prices, all classes selling to keen competition. ' We quote: Hens (fat) Is lOd to 2s 2d, ordinary Is 4d to Is Od, pullets Is 2d to 2s 4d. roosters Is 3d to Is 9d, cockerels 8d to 2s 2d, ducks Is 3d to Is lid. In the mart a large quantity of household furniture wns disposed of at satisfactory prices. Fruit. The supply has somewhat decreased. Peaches are just about done and only the later variety of pears aw available. The market has been" dull owing to the large supplies held in stock by the trade.
