ANNUAL MEETING, The annual meeting of the above club was held in the council chambers last evening. There was a large attendance, over thirty members being present. Dr. Fookes presided. The report as already published in our columns was adopted. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £l9 3s to be, carried forward! to the 1012 season, which must be considered a record for the club. - ! Leighton. , Officers were elected as follow: Patron, ] Dr. Fookes; president, Dr. Walker;! vice-presidents are to remain the same as last year, with the execption of Sergt. • Dart, who has left the district, Messrs! A. P. Drvden and Geo. Faber to be added to the list; secretary Mr. W. R. Davidson; treasurer; Mr. D. Webster; auditor', Mr. J. 6. W-'ster; club captain, Mr. H. J. Mynot"; field captain, Mr. IT. Stohr; management committee, Messrs H. J. Mynott, A; P.. Standish, E. Ward, J. Stohr, J. McLcod. W. F. Sheild, C. Brown, G. Loveridge, with secretary and . treasurer ex officio; senior selection committee, Messrs Mynott, Ward and Stohr; junior selection committee, Messrs N. West, G. Lister, and D. Roebuck; delegates to Taranaki Rugby Union, Mr. J. McLeod (seniors) and Mr. H. J, Mynott (juniors). Dr. Fookes regretted the loss the club had sustained by the death of its late patron, Mr. Tisch, and he also felt it an honour to occupy the office and trusted he would-be of good service to the club. I The election of the seoond junior team selection committee was left in the hands of the management committe. The selection of junior captains was left to the teams. The official opening of the club was fixed for Thursday, April 11th,. Mr. McLeod suggested that some matches should be arranged to be played elsewhere, instead of playing all matches on the Western Park ground. He considered if this were done it would considerably increase the club's finance.— Resolved that a suggestion to this effect be put before the management committee. A letter was read from the, secretary of the Taranaki Rugby Union to the effect that all members must wear the same colours when playing in matches. On behalf of the management committee Mr. McLeod proposed a hearty vote iof thanks to Mr. Webster, the outgoing secretary of the club, and it was decided to grant him a bonus of £s.—Mr. Webster thanked the committee for their generositv, but said he could not think of taking such a large amount. If the committee was willing he would accept £3, and he would donate the remaining £2 to the junior who does most foiithe club for the succeeding season.—This was carried by acclamation. Mr. Mynott proposed that the delegates interview the T.R.U. with a view of playing three rounds, provided Eltham decides to drop out. It was decided, on the motion of Mr Higgs, that the club pay half the cost "of the travelling expenses incurred by the second juniors. It was decided, on the proposalof Mr McLeod, that ladies be admitted free to all club matches. Subscriptions were fixed at the same as last year. Votes of thanks to the ladies' committee, for assistance at the club's social; retiring officers, outgoing committee, presiding committee, Referees' Association and to the press terminated the meeting.

INGLEWOOD CLUB. The annual meeting of the Inglewood Club was held on Tuesday night. The attendance was the best for some years, over thirty being present.
