FIRES.
A POST OFFICE DESTROYED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, Tuesday. A fire at Wbodville last night destroyed the post office and store owned by H; Lloyd, J. Felton's bootmaker's shop, and the Oddfellows' Hall. The piano in the hall was saved. The hall was insured for £350 in the South British, but the other insurances are unknown. If your property is not insured, call at or ring up the United Insurance Company, Ltd., Devon street; telephone 198. Webster Bros, district agents. Insurances effected on the most favorable terms.—Advt.
