The Meteorological Office has issued 1$ following summary and forecast:— be barometer has fallen slowly in the nth and especially about Cook Strait, lit remained low in the south. Moderke to strong Westerly winds have prettied northward of Cape Campbell and Foulwind, but south-easterly winds Era been experienced in the southern Ettrkts. Cloudy weatlr r has predomintpdand showery in part 3 of the Sonth jbpd especially. Present indications 't& for unsettled, cloudy and misty weaker, with rain in mast parts of the JOntry. Strong westerly winds probUe northward of Cook Strait and eastij and south-easterly winds elsewhere, Id a further fall in the barometer.
