STATE BRICK WORKS. Sjydney, Mareh 23. The Public Works Committee has recommenced the extending of the State brick works to three times the present size. It is estimated that the result will be a saving of £40,000 yearly. A TERRIFIC HAILSTORM. 1 Sydney, March 23. In a terrific hailstorm near Goulburn miles of fencing were carried away and thousands of rabbits and other small animals killed. Trees were stripped and the hailstones piled to a depth of eight feet in places.
