A girl named Florizel Lamming, whilst endeavouring to extinguish the clothing of an elderly woman who had spilt burning turpentine on herself, ignited her own dress. She ran and hid in the bush, and being then paralysed with fear, down with her hands over her head. She made no outcry, and was not discovered until she was fatallv burned.
