Colonial woollen importers have decided to drop one series of sales and have fixed the third for July 2 instead of June, with a limit of a quarter of a million bales. The fourth sale, September 24, is unlimited; the fifth, November 26, also unlimited. Received March 21, 10.40 p.m. London, March 21. Wheat.—Australian cargoes sold at 37e 4y 2 d, 37s M, 38s, and 38s l%d respectively.
PALMERSTON STOCK REPORT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Palmerston N., Last Night. Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report as follows:—At our Palmerston North sale, held on Thursday, the 21st inst, we had a good yarding of both sheep and cattle, which met with a good sale at late rates. We quote:—Twotooth ewes 13s lid, small 9s 9d, 4 and 5-year ewes 10s lid, 12s, 12s Id to 13s; aged ewes 6s, 6s 5d to 7s 2d and 7s 3d; fat ewes, heavy 14s 6d; cattle, 20-months steers £3 0s fid, 2>/ 2 year steers £4 16s, 3-year steers £5 7s 6d, 18 months heifers £3 18s 6d, small 34s to £3 3s, weaners 20s to 28s, springing cows £4 13s to £lO, bulls £2 to £2 10s.
