STATE BRICK WORKS. By CaWe—Fms Association—Copyright. Sydney, March 21. In the Assembly, Mr. Wade moved an adjournment of the discussion on the incompetent management of the brick works. Mr. Griffith, Minister for Works, denied the incompetency, and declared that the works saved the country £3OO weekly, and would shortly save £IOOO per week.
A PROBABLE CRISIS. Sydney, March 21. The Assembly declined to ratify the Council's amendments to the Industrial Arbitration Bill, and it was returned with a message disagreeing from them. The Council will discuss the message to-day. Several members hinted at a probable crisis. Preference to unionists is the chief cause on which there is disagreement.
THE ARBITRATION BILL. Received March 22, 12.45 a.m. • Sydney, March 21. The Legislative Council considered the 'Assembly's message expressing disagTeemeat with the Arbitration Bill amendments, and decided to insist on the amendments. The Council appointed a committee to draw up reasons for th-3 Assembly's information. PUSH, NOT PARLIAMENT. Reeeived March 22, 12.45 a.m. Sydney, March 21. There was another scene in the Assembly. Mr. Wood said that the methods employed were those of "push," not Parliament. He failed to withdraw when ordered. The .Speaker ordered his removal. Wood shook oft* the sergeant and also two messengers. Four police entered, and Wood submitted.
