TARANAKI JOCKEY CLUB. At a meeting of the Metropolitan Committee 'of the Taranaki Jockey Club it was decided' to approve of the decision of the Judicial Committee of the Jockey Club, whereby the j-ockey's license of W. 11. Copestake was suspended for three months for not riding his mount (Cornelian) out to the end of the race at the club's autumn meeting, when, in the opinion of the Judicial Committee, he had a chance of winning or running | second. . At a committee meeting the subcommittee reported' that Kyngdon and Russell's tender for improvements to the I training track had been accepted, and j that the contractors had made a start I with the work this week.
