Peninsulars deferred spurted- to two hundred and eighty-five on rumours that there was a general consolidation of Far Eastern shipping interests. FATAL BOMB EXPLOSION. Received 21, 12.45 a.m. Lisbon, March 20. Bombs manufactured on a barber's premises at Oporto exploded, wrecking four houses. Four people were killed and live injured. A NEW ZEALAND ESTATE. Received 20, 11.25 *p.m. Sydney, March 20. The will of the late Mrs. Ireland, of Auckland, has been passed for probate. The value of the New South Wales estate was £49,805. SLEEPERS FOR TRANSCONTINENTAL RAILWAY. Received 20, 11.45 p.m. Melbourne,- March 20. The Minister of Home Affairs has authorised the calling of tenders for sleepers for the Transcontinental railway; 2,300,000 will -be required.
