> THE EAST END CLUB. i' The New Plymouth East Flying Club jheld their second Tace for birds wearing .! 1911-12 rings on Saturday last, from ;jWaverley, a distance of 58 miles. The f weather conditions were more favorable than those Which prevailed the previous I week, and the winning birds were as iikeen as mustard.to home. One hundred t'and seven birds, representing sixteen I lofts, participated in the event, and the tj winner registered a velocity of 1098 yds •per minute. The places, were filled as follows:—L.
