Accounts amounting to £5084 19s 3d were passed for payment, including £4673 Bs. 2d for milk, as against £,3753 17s 7d for the corresponding month of last year. The "All Nations Fair" in aid of the funds of the Presbyterian Church promises to be a great success. One very prominent feature will be the exhibition of oil .paintings, the work of Mrs., Richards. Among the landscapes are' a great many Australian scenes, but there are also several New Zealand views, viz., "The Sounds," two scenes on the * nganui River and one of the "Avon,* ' Christchurch. The girls of Inglewood who are interested in Peace Scouting for girls will be delighted to hear that Mrs (Djr.) Gault has accepted the position of District President of that organisation. She will be assisted by Miss Houchin as district secretary, and Mrs. M. Sutherland as Scoutmistress in Inglewood, and Mesdames Dewhirst and Glassfc-rd at Egmont Village and Lincoln road reepe«tively.
