ST. AUBYN TOWN BOARD

MONTHLY MEETING. The .monthly meeting of the St. Aubyn Town Board was held on Tuesday. Present: Messrs. G. E. Blanchard (chairman), F. Hodgson, H. Putt, and P. Lealand. Leave of absence was granted -to Mr. W. J. Euasell. A letter was received from Messrs. Sladden and Palmer re the roading of the Dartmoor Estate.—lt was resolved that Dorset Avenue be formed the full width, with footpaths 10ft. wide, metalled in the centre 14ft. wide, with metal 9in deep on the crown and 7iu. on the side. If any drainage is required Sin. pipes are to be used. A letter was received from the Municipal Association of New Zealand, asking the board to affiliate.—lt was resolved to accede to this. The clerk was instructed to send notices to several persons to remove noxious weeds from the roads. The foreman was instructed that if he sees anyone driving etock on the footpaths he is to obtain a witness, so that action can be taken in the Magistrate's Court. Accounts to the amount of £32 8s lOd were passed for payment. V
