TWO DARING BURGLARIES
MASKED MEN IN SYDNEY
By Cable—Press Association —Copyright. Received 15, 9.55 p.m. Sydney, March 15. Residents in two suburbs encountered masked burglars last night. Mrs. Fleming, at Randwick, arose during the night and saw a hand protruding from under the bed. She screamed, j and the masked man emerged. The ladv ! grabbed his mask, and the man fled. The police have been supplied with a full description of the burglar. Earlier in the night Miss Hamilton was alone in a house at Bellevue Hill, when two masked burglars forced the front door. Miss Hamilton rushed to the telephone and called up her mistress, who is a city hotelkeeper. The burglars seized and locked Miss Hamilton in her room, after roughly handling her They then ransacked the (house and escaped.
