The fact that friends of the Peace Committee in London were attempting to stop people from emigrating to Australia and New Zealand, by putting forward the compulsory defence systems as a reason why tliey should not adopt the Commonwealth and Dominion as their homes, has been brought to the notice of Federal Ministers. Mr. A. Fisher replied that he did not want to bother about people who were joking.
