ENGLAND'S PREPAREDNESS FOR WAR. By Cable—Press Association—-Copyright. London, March 13. The Army Estimates were challenged regarding the preparedness for war. Colonel Seely, Under-Secretary for War, exhibited a marked envelope, and offered to show it to any members of the Opposition under a pledge of secrecy. He said it contained plans for the dispatching of 150,000 troops overseas in a few days, with three months' supplies of ammunition and stores. Subsequently speakers doubted the possibility of doing this without denuding the country.
