THE STRIKE IX GERMANY. CONFLICTS WITH THE AUTHORITIES. By Cable —Press Association—Copyright. Berlin, March 13. Out of 266,835 miners in the Ruhr district 110,107 entered the pits yesterday. There have been conflicts between the police and miners in several districts, ending in sabre charges. A number were injured. Three-fourths of the miners have struck. Strikers at Ilearne stoned the police, who fired, killing one. Strikers at Hamburg are stoning and wounding many police. In the Diet, Herr Dallwitz stated that the Government would do its utmost to protect willing workers.
