CAUSES OF INDUSTRIAL UNREST
ROYAL COMMISSION ASKED FOR. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. At a meeting of the Chamber of Commerce to-day a letter was received from the Auckland Chamber of Commerce asking for the support of the local body in asking the Government to appoint a Royal Commission to investigate the present industrial unrest in the Dominion. The committee decided that while in sympathy with the objects of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce, it did not think a Royal Commission would be the best means of attaining the" desired end.
