Warner expresses surprise at the fact that the Board of Control will not consider the cable sent by the president of the Marylebone Club, urging that the best Australian team should be sent, and regards its action in not replying as savouring of discourtesy. BOARD OF CONTROL CENSURED. Sydney, March 12. Mr. Wade's motion that the Board of Control be requested to take the necessary steps to ensure Australia having a representative team in the triangular matches waß carried. Mr. Noble, in moving that the resolutions be forwarded to the board, said he did not object to the board, but to some members of it. He strongly objected to a democratic board bejng governed by a despot. The evident intention of the rules was that the players should appoint- a manager and the board ratify the appointment.

The cup fixtures for to-morrow hare been fixed as follows:—New Plymouth v. Inglewood, at Inglewood; Waitara v. Carrington Road, at Waitara; Urenui a bye.
