ENTERTAINMENTS
JOSEPH BLASOHECK. Many entertainers have visited U3 from time to time, and some of them have been great artists in their line, and it is safe to say that there has never been such a versatile performer as Joseph Blascheck, whose tour in Australia has been so remarkable for the unbounded enthusiasm it has aroused. Columns of praise have appeared in all the leading newspapers, and the critics have been unanimous in their verdict. The most remarkable feature of his performance appears to be the wonderful range of work. He can send his audience into fits of laughter, and in the twinkling of an eye can bring a lump into the throat and a tear in the eye by his genius as an actor, and it is safe to prophecy that his success everywhere he lias visited will be repeated in this town. Mr. Blascheck open his Society Snapshots at,the Theatre Royal on Tuesday next, 19th inst. The box plan is at Collier's.
