The con-j ference adopted the committee's rpportj in favor of the New South Wales tem of Bible in schools. Resolutions' were passed expressing satisfaction atS the splendid vote recorded in favor ■jofj National Prohibition, and urging fresh,. efforts. The conference expressed the conviction that the Government should' take steps for the abolition of the totalisat'or, also a protest against Lhe A ne temere decree. The election for chairmen of districts resulted as follows:—Wanganui, Rev. Spence; Wellington, Rev. Serpell; Canterbury, Rev. Law; Nelson, Rev. Baumber; Otago, Rev.
