Sydney, March 8. The latest escapade of masked burglars was an attempt to enter the bedroom of Miss Hilda Spong, the actress. Aroused by the noise, Miss Spong armed herself with a revolver and opened the window. She saw a man mounting a ladder placed under the window, and fired five shots at him. The man escaped. The police are investigating.
