It is estimated that the Provisional Government will require £7,000,000 monthly for half a year. A syndicate comprising the four nations is arranging the necessary loan. ADD REPUBLICAN CHINA. Received 8, 11.40 p.m. Pekin, March 8. When Bishop Scott's party was endangered, the Revs. Day and Hughes civilly explained that the carts were the Bishop's property, but the soldiers immediately fired, killing Rev. Day.
