He said great danger to foreigners was apprehended if Mexico once got the idea that the United States menaced her by the army which was now stationed near the border. They would then probably wreak their vengeance on all foreigners within the country.
GENERAL CROZCO'S APPOINTMENT.

Despatches from Chihuahua announce that General Crozco has been appointed General of all insurrectionary forces operating in Northern Mexico. The appointment indicates the still greater spread of the insurrection.
