THE WEATHER.
SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological Office has issued the following summary and forecast:— The barometer has fell en low in the south, with strong westerly and southerly winds. Much rain has fallen in the south, and cloudy and showery weather has prevailed, with thunderstorms in parts. Present indications are for wet ud squally weather, with heavy rain and thunderstorms in parts, and high westerly winds veering to a southerly gale shortly. The barometer will probably rise soon everywhere.
