' CASES SET DOWN FOR HEARING. Quite a number of cases are set down for hearing at the sitting of the Supreme Court at New Plymouth, which .opens to-morrow. The criminal cases are as follow:—Te Kira, alleged breaking and entering warehouse and theft therefrom; C. B. Lumsden, jun., alleged indecent assault; W. J. Roes, alleged theft from a dwelling; W. (Mr. Stanford), specific performance of an agreement for exchange of farm lands; Llewellyn Davy (Mr. Barton) v. EmmaL. McGregor "(Mr. Sellar), claim for £2OO 12s 6d for money allegedly lent and interest; Trustees of the. will of Henry A. Arthur- (Mr. Barton) v. Alfred H. Arthur (Mr. G. H. Ryan), claim for £llO2 17s 7d under memo of mortgage; John Armstrong (Mr. McCarthy) and another v. John M. Laurent, claim for £ll3B lis 9d damages for alleged fraudulent representation on sale of land (before common jury of twelve); Charles Robert StannaTd (Mr. McCarthy) v. Harold A. Jones (Mr. Sellar), claim £lO3 10s, for alleged breach of agreement, arrears of salary and accounts; Edward J. Bergin (Mr. Gray) v. Edwin May (Mr. F. 'E. Wilson), claim in detinue for £400; Charles Weston (Mr. C. H. Weston) t. | Francis M. Mills (Mr. G. Grey), claim for £IOO commission on sale of land.
