I A Concert.—Rosina Buckman, the talented soprano, with her charming stage presence, made her re-appearance in the Theatre Royal last Wednesday evening, and although many years have elapsed since her previous visit, her entrance on the stage put a sparkle into her audience's eye and caused them to sit up and burst their gloves applauding her. Miss Buckman was robed in a lovely frock of pale blue satin charmeuse, with a tunic of ninon edged with silver fringe, finished at the waist with pale pink roses and a silver band, an'd pale pink rose in coiffure. Mrs. J. Noble (Hamilton), black chiffon taffeta, silver sequinned scarf. Miss C. Bayly, white ninon over white satin, with gold embroideries; pale blue crepe de chine shoulder scarf. Next Tuesday, Mrs. Penn is giving a "kitchen tea." in honor of Miss Colson, who is shortly to-be married to Mr. T. J Anderson. | PERSONAL. Miss K. Saxton, who has been on a lengthv visit to Rotor.ua and Auckland, has returned to New Plymouth. Miss- Bedford has returned to New Plymouth after a pleasant trip to Auckland.
