MR. ROOSEVELT'S DECISION. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. New York, February 27. Stock Exchange circles profess no surprise at Mr. Roosevelt's determination to re-enter politics. Stocks are weak because of the threatened English coal strike, but are hardly affected by Mr. Roosevelt's attitude. Washington, February 27. Political circles are discussing a story to the effect that Mr. Roosevelt, during the late Mexican rebellion, offered to send a regiment of cavalry if invasion was decided upon. It is believed that Mr. Taft did not receive the offer cordially.

A CONSTITUTIONAL QUESTION,
Received 29, 12.10 a.m. Nejv York, February 28. Mr. Roosevelt's announcement did not dim the enthusiasm of the moderate Republicans supporting Mr. Taft. Mr. Roosevelt explained to reporters that when he gave his pledge not to accept a third (Presidential term, he only meant a third successive term. If he lost on a straight-out fight for the principal nomination, he would support the Republican candidate, whoever he might be.

DEMOCRATIC CONVENTION. Received 29, 12.30 a.m. New York, February 28. A feeling is developing in Democratic ranks in favor of postponing the Democratic Convention called for Philadelphia for June 25. In consequence of the entrance of Mr. Roosevelt into the campaign, the Republican Convention meets on June 19. ' tf /
