Shackleton, interviewed, declared that Captain Scott should leave MacMurdo Sound on February 10, and reach Stewart Island three weeks later, but Captain Amundsen, having helping winds, should reach Hobart earlier. Probably the Filchner German expedition has been frozen in Weddel Sea. If not imprisoned, it should arrive at Punta Arenas or Buenos Aires in April.
