FOUND IN, THE HARBOR. . By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Monday. The body of a man named James Gibbons, laborer, was found in the harbor yesterday. In one pocket of his coat was an unopened bottle of lysol. Gibbons left his lodgings three weeks ago, and his landlady supposed that he had gone to Wellington, A SUDDEN DEATH. Auckland, Monday. Gwendoline Thompkins, a single woman, aged 35, who had been unwell for some time, died suddenly yesterday. She had been attended by Dr. Parkes for some days, and was apparently improving, when she was suddenly taken seriously ill and died before the doctor could reach her. Dr. Parkes refused a certificate, and a post-mortem revealed pregnancy, but nothing to cause death. An analysis of her stomach is to be made.
