SHOTS EXCHANGED. •> By. Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 26, 9 p.m. Sydney, February 26. There have been several daring burglaries in the city recently. This morning Mr. Thompson, a resident of Randwick, discovered a man in his bedroom, and fired two shots as the intruder was escaping. The man called out that he was shot. While Thompson was standing on the balcony several shots were fired at him, but none were effective. The burglars escaped with considerable loot.
