SUMMARY AND FORECAST. j By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The meteorological Office has issued the following summary and forecast: — The barometer rose high about Cook Strait on-Sunday and has been above normal .everywhere. The weather has been unsettled at times, especially, in the northernmost" and southernmost districts. Heavy rain fell about Auckland on Sunday night. The nights have been very eoki in many parts. Present indications are for a falling barometer everywhere, easterly breezes veering to northerly and increasing evrywhere, with warm and humid conditons generally, and unsettled and showery at times in the northern amd,southernmost districts especially.
