Attorney-General, and Jones v. Lcfroy. By Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, Yesterday. Ah Oon, who according to the cablegram has been refused leave to appeal in forma pauperis, was convicted of keeping a common gaming house and fined £2O. Messrs. Dolan and Ferguson brought the case before the Appellate Court, Wellington, when the Chief Justice referred to it as a "comedy of errors," but refused to quash the eonviction. Mr. Jell'icoe then appealed in forma pauperis, with the result stated.
