Justioe Edwards, commenting upon the number of cases of assault and causing bodily harm, said: "I must try to keep the streets clean and safe. Auckland must be safe at all times." On these charges. ho sentenced Richard Vines, and Charles Green to 18 months' imprisonment each,, and George Crowther and Daniel Joseph Laso to two years' imprisonment. WANGANUI SESSIONS.
