By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, Tuesday. The third of the wool sales is to be held to-morrow. It is expected that the prices will be a shade easier than those at the second sale. Commercial men believe that the almost universal industrial unrest will have a prejudicial effect on the demand. TARANAKI WOOL, SKIN, HIDE AND TALLOW SALE. MR. NEWTON KING'S REPORT. On Tuesday, the 13th inst,, I held my usual four-weekly sale of above produce. There was a goad attendance of buyer* and competition throughout was very keen for all lines. The catalogue comprised 173 bales and 339 sacks wool, 3078 sheepskins, 29 casks, 3 kegs and 89 tins tallow, 793 hides and 1034 calfskins, besides the usual quantity of hair, tails, bones, etc. j Wool—Fleece that came forward most-, I ly consisted of coarser and rougher sorts than offered at my previous sale. Prices, I however, were well maintained, and were ; at par with those ruling at the previous ! offering. Lambs' wool was in keen de- | mand at an advance of V 2 d per lb. | Skins—Very few full-wools now,offer- ! ing, and as a consequence they were y 2 d higher. All other lines, including pelts and lambs, sold exceedingly well at pricei according to amount of wool on the skins.

Hides—No particularly good stout ox offering. Other lines were, however, up to %d pe; lb. Cow hides met with excellent competition, superior Tines being %d and ordinary %d per lb higher. One line of cow realised 7%d per lb, equal to £2 2s 8d per hide. Tallow—A large offering, prices declining 5b per ton.

Calfskins—Small offering, all lines selling exceedingly well. Special lines sold up to 12y 8 d per lb.
