PETROLEUM NEWS.
The manager of the Taranaki Petroleum Company's bores at Moturoa reported at 4.30 yesterday afternoon that the bore continued to flow between the casings, chiefly mud and oil. He anticipated that the bore would, if left alone, soon clear itself and come to cleav oil, although it was his intention to drill 20 or 30 feet deeper.
