At a meeting of several thousand Radicals in Trafalgar Square Mr. W. G. C. Gladstone, M.P., grandson of the great statesman, was the chief speaker. He urged a generous measure of Home Rule for Ireland.
A SIN FEIN PLACARD.
"BRITAIN'S TYRANNIC RULE."

The Sin Fein organisation has extensively placarded County Cork, urging youths not to join the army, navy or constabulary.
The placard adds that a weak navy and army will end Britain's tyrannic rule in Ireland.
SIR E. GREY FAVORS HOME RULE.
Received 19, 12.30 a.m. London, February 19.
Sir E. Grey, at Manchester, declared that both parties in Ireland had never had a sense of responsibility. Therefore with the knowledge that one party resisted justice, and that the welfare of the country depended on their getting on together, he believed Home Rule wa6 the only means of reconciliation.
