SUMMARY AND FORECAST.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological Office has issued tip following summary and forecast:— The barometer has fallen low in the southern districts under the influence of a westerly low pressure, and increasing westerly winds have prevailed with changeable weather. Present indications ue for high westerly winds, veering to : Motherly, with cold, unsettled and ■howery weather generally. The barometer wul probably rise everywhere •tartly.
