OLD MAN'S FATAL FALL. By Tolograph —Prtw Association. Auckland, Saturday. Henry Lees, aged 78, a resident of Mount Albert, was found dead in a gravel pit owned by himself. It is supposed that he fell from a cliff 100 ft high in a fit of dizzinesß.

STRUCK BY A TREE. Blenheim, Last Night. A man named Chas. M. West, unmarried, working ijn the railway protective works at Tuamarina, was felling willows yesterday, when a tree struck him, injuring his back and skull. It is pot apprehended that his injuries will prove fatal.
