LICENSING DISTRICT OF TARANAKI. NOTICE OF POLLING DAY. TN pursuance of the Licensing Act, 1908, and its amendments, I, John Terry, Returning Officer for the Licensing District of Taranaki. do hereby give notice that, by virtue of the provisions of the said Act, an election will be held for the return of five qualified persons to serve as members of the Licensing Committee for the said district; and that the latest hour for receiving nominations of candidates will be noon on the second day of March, 1912, and that the poll, if necessary, will be taken at the several polling-places of the said district on the 12th day of March, 1912.

Every person desirous of becoming a candidate must be nominated by not less than two electors of the district, by a nomination paper following the form prescribed by Section 105 of the Legislature Act, 1908, delivered to the Returning Officer on or before noon on the 9econi day of March, 1912. The following are the polling places for the Licensing District of Taranaki: — The Theatre Royal, Devon street, New Plymouth (principal).
