ROUND-BACK FENCING POSTS.

Messrs. Hall and Worthington wish to state that they have had the patent for the concrete round-back fencing posts for the past two vears. Hundreds have been made at Waftara, and used by several of the leading Tikorangi and Huirangi farmers. A large shed has been built for making posts two or three miles beyond Waitara, and a contract let for making 1000. They are prepared to instruct farmers or supply a small plant at small cost to any farmer or othere. The benefit of the round-back patent post is that the wire can be firmly fixed to any gauge, every farmer having a way of his own. It is almost impossible to move the wires if properly fixed. References and names of farmers who have used the posts can be given. Anyone that has gravel and sand on his farm could make a few on wet days if he had a small plant and materials ready. Messrs. R. Hicks and Son bought the first fifty posts that were made at Waitara, and they have had. several lots since, and now thev have: bought a machine for making them. Mr. Hicks informed the firm that a cow can jump on the wires and not move them when properly fixed with No. 12 wire. Mr. Hall has several posts fixed about bis place, and hae in hand orders for hundreds.
