DEFEAT OF THE REBELS. By Cable —Press Association —Copyright. Mexio City, February 12. The regulars defeated a thousand Zabata rebels in the Cuernava district. The Federals' loss was five killed. The Zabatists' loss is unknown. Fifteen thousand cotton factory workers have been locked out at Orizaba because they threatened to strike. It is feared that the unemployed men will join the rebels operating in the Puebla district. The revolt is still simmering in many districts, but it is not believed that it will assume dimensions Kiillieient to overtliniw the present regime.
