Wellington, Tuesday. The Wellington wool sales opened today with a large attendance of buyers, representing Bradford, American and Continental houses, and competition was strong. It was clear is the earlier stages of the gale that rough inferior and medium were down %d to %d per lb. compared with the late sale, rates ruling at 6%d to 7%d per lb. Good wools, suitable for America, were keenly sought after at prices on a lower scale and real-' ised about 10y 2 d. Lambs' wool was irregular in price, superior wools realising 9i4d to 9%d, medium 8d to B%d, inferior and seedy 6%d to 7d.
