"INTENSELY SELFISH"

AN ESTIMATE OP AMERICANS. New York, February 6. The Rev. R. J. Campbell, of the City Temple, London, in the course of an interview to-day, expressed himself very candidly regarding American and Americans. The famous London pastor, who has been visiting various parts of the United States, declares that he found the people of this country intensely selfish, especially throughout the Western States. None of the men he came across were spiritually big enough for the ponitioM they hold. Mr. Campbell had much to say in praise of President Taft for the latter's efforts in the cause of international arbitration.
